Well, hello there! Diane and I had quite a whirlwind summer! In addition to building a new pond with some great plants, and the typical maintenance of our property, we had an extremely successful backyard swimming lessons program known as the Whitby Aquatic Club. We provided lessons to over 325 kids from June 1 to October 1. We were so very happy with their progression and the smiles on their faces when they left. We were continually thanked throughout the summer by our swim parents, and that is great news!
We finished up the summer travelling to BC for a wedding for Diane’s son Tim & Brianna's wedding on the spectacular sunshine coast. The wedding was on the ocean with seals playing in the background! We also had a great chance to reconnect with so many of Diane’s friends too.
My highlight was renting a 2021 Jaguar F-Type! 2 seater sports car for the two weeks!
Last weekend, I was the MC for the Ontario Swimming Conference and I provided photo and video services. We hope to publish the videos on SAI soon! It was a great conference!
We are looking forward to a new swim season which is now upon us. Private Coaching sessions are in full swing and Diane is a Development Coach with the Pickering Swim Club.
We are planning to provide Swim Meet Race Filming for clubs and parents this year as well.
In November, I am heading to Edmonton to provide some HD/4K video for a research project.
And we are in the final stages of planning for a major trip in February - more news on that soon!
