I’ve been involved in swimming for over 40 years primarily as a swim coach in 8 different cities. I also have a passionate background in photo, video and Information Technology. During a coaching hiatus, I was an IT Manager in the insurance industry. I was also a Branch Manager with Royal LePage for 6 years.
In the 1980’s, when Sharper Aquatic Image was Canada’s premium swim cap printer, I personally printed Alex Bauman’s and Victor Davis names on their swim caps…the first in North America.
With SAI I also sold Seiko stopwatches, Kyrotech programmable pace clocks to coaches throughout North America…even sent one to Vladimir Salnikov in Russia…
One fun little program was selling the very first Swedish Goggle to kids at meets…five bucks, five bucks, five bucks...
In my homes, I have an extensive woodworking shop….where I make cabinets, turn pens, make garden furniture, etc.
