A New ( & temporary) World

Pens made on the lathe

Hi there!

Diane & I certainly hope you and your family are well. Our various media portals are keeping us up to date on an hourly basis and we hope you are following guidance on best health and protection practices during this time.

For us, this so far (financials notwithstanding), this is a nice healthy break. We are spending 95% of our time at home and only head out for walking the dogs and doing some shopping. The fridge and freezer are full, and we have plenty of charcoal for our Kamado Joe BBQ.

Pizza cutter, cheese & ice cream scoop!

We just finished editing and publishing the 190 videos from the Ontario Swimming Champs at TPASC. If anything else, its a good chance for swimmers to view their current and historical videos.

Admittedly, we are also enjoying the shop and doing some things that we have always wanted to do but never seem to find the time to do it! We have a large basement workshop, and I have been on the woodworking lathe making some things. Here’s a couple of pics shown in a photo album.

I’m also looking at developing a facility to sell these too!

Diane is a big gardening enthusiast and we are in the middle of making some raised cedar garden planters.

Diane has filled our old planters with some daffodils…now grow dammit!

One the weather breaks a little more, we will hit the road and do some cycling.

Keep in touch, and if there is anything we can (remotely) do for you, please let us know!

Jim & Diane
