Hi everyone. Hoping you are well, safe and happy with this very strange life we all have now! Today is July 31 and the long weekend is upon us. Hoping you have a chance for some special family plans!
Admittedly, I have very little news to share with you on the swimming and video front. I have done some private underwater video stroke sessions at private backyard pools, but other than that, SAI has been very quiet since March. That being said, we have had over 8,700 views of your videos during this pandemic. Of the Top 10 videos viewed, Summer McIntosh holds 4 of the Top 10 spots…she is quite a swimmer with an excellent fan following!
In terms of upcoming planning, we are still in a hold pattern waiting for pool rental time to be available at TPASC. We have a waiting list for swimmers looking for some underwater stroke analysis.
As for meets for 2020-21, at this point….who knows? Our feeling and our goal is to expand the number of meets we attend in the Greater GTA area. It’s possible that Race Filming will have a greater benefit for parents and coaches at meets where parents will not be allowed (or limited) to watch meets. We will keep in touch on this as well.
In the meantime, admittedly it has been great to spend some time in my woodworking shop. Its been a long time to have so much time available to build things! Click on this link to see some of the recent projects, including Diane’s “She Shed”!
