This weekend, we are at Toronto PanAm Sports Centre for the Ontario Swimming Championships, clearly one of the fastest meets in the country. 81 clubs are participating and it should be a good one.
We are on hand providing Race Filming for Coaches and Parents. Each meet we film reminds us of the importance of video review during and after the meet. Techniques change from month to month, and from LC to SC and it's important to see these changes to prepare for the next step ahead.
Statistically (and speaking to swimmers and coaches), the very best swimmers are the ones who watch theire videos over and over again. The review of splits is important, but the measurement factor is not the end result in time, but how you got there, and more importantly, what you can do to improve it!
This is our final Race Filming meet of the season. We are looking forward to a successful and fast meet!
